Private Art Classes — Online & In-Person

My aim is to help artists develop their voices and become masterful at drawing and painting. If you are passionate about art and want to pursue your art in a more rigorous, methodical, and goal-oriented way, let’s work together.

  • I work with students at all stages of their artistic journey, from beginners to advanced painters.

    My current students include:

    • Individuals preparing an art portfolio for school, a creative career, or a tattoo apprenticeship

    • Art enthusiasts who are developing their practice with the goal of becoming professional artists

    • Working artists who want to refine and strengthen specific drawing and painting skills

  • Private classes are available on Tuesdays and Sundays between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Please email me at robyn.asquini@gmail.com to discuss a time that works best for you.

  • Private classes take place at my studio in Toronto at 44 Boston Avenue, Unit 2.

This is a dedicated studio I share with another artist and is fully equipped with easels, lighting, and painting materials (some supplies may be provided, others you’ll bring).

  • I teach classes to students internationally on Zoom. After booking, you’ll receive a Zoom link for your session. You can email me photos of your current work and reference material to review and I’ll make suggested improvements in photoshop. Alternatively, you can position your computer screen towards your artwork and we can work on a piece together. You also have the option of being emailed the recording of the class to review at your convenience.

  • Please email me at robyn.asquini@gmail.com to inquire about current online openings.

  • $85 CAD for 50 minutes
$285 CAD for 4 /1 class per week within 1 month

  • Payments can be made via e-transfer, PayPal, or in cash prior to the class date.

Workshops

I teach workshops at my Toronto studio and the Academy of Realist Art, where each session includes a brief presentation, a live demonstration, and plenty of one-on-one guidance. Participants receive hands-on instruction in materials and techniques essential for creating a successful painting. By the end of the workshop, you’ll gain valuable insight into timeless oil painting methods and learn how to complete a painting from start to finish.

Demos & Live Painting

I’m available for live painting demonstrations and special events. I have painted live at The Artist Project, the Academy of Realist Art, Willowdale Group of Artists, and a variety of private and public events. My demos feature traditional painting techniques inspired by masters such as John Singer Sargent, Sorolla, and Monet, as well as live portraits and figure painting. Email me to inquire about booking a demo or live painting session.
